Physical Education

Vision

All pupils are given an opportunity to: experience competition; lead and officiate in a range of contexts and develop personal, social and creative skills. It aims to deepen their understanding of the importance of an active lifestyle and applying these life-long tools that are used in sport, in their future lives.

Outdoor and Adventurous activities - 'The Isle of Wight was fun and challenging all at the same time; I pushed myself to go higher and to do things I would never normally do!' Year 6 pupil.

'CYE was absolutely marvellous, I learnt how to kayak and sail' Year 5 pupil.

'In PE, we are learning cricket. I found this difficult in Year 3 but now, I find batting, fielding and bowling easier because I have learnt the skill of throwing and catching.'  Year 4 pupil.

 'I have learnt how to catch the ball and place my feet properly in netball; it was great when I took part in a rugby tournament.' Year 5 pupil.
