On Tuesday 3rd November, the Lower Base held their Egyptian Day. The school hired a company called 'Hands On History' to deliver a variety of workshops across the day, which all the staff were fully involved in delivering.

The children experienced flour grinding, authentic Egyptian clothing, an Egyptian battle, the magic of fire in Egyptian times and even visited an Egyptian doctor where poor Mrs Stone discovered she was very ill and went under several grusome procedures!!!

Everyone learned a huge amount and had a fantastic time-we will soon add recounts and reports from the children to further explain the events of the day!
