Our Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 hockey teams played some awesome hockey against 6 other local schools. Both teams came first! Well done Southbourne Juniors!
We were extremely fortunate to be able to host a traditional wagon built by members of the Salford Irish Traveller Community, Salford Children's Services and Salford Community Leisure. A huge thank you to Salford Ethnic Minority and Traveller Achievement Service for this opportunity.

Some of our Year 5 pupils had a fabulous morning as part of the launch of the STEM Enthuse Project at the Bourne on 1st April.
Last year, Southbourne Juniors was one of more than 9,000 schools across England and Wales that took part in the census education programme, Let’s Count!.
World Book Day costumes and a fabulous day with Harry Venning, an award-winning cartoonist, illustrator and comedy writer.
Last half term, Year 6 enjoyed hot chocolate and marshmallows around the fire as they listened to the end of the story ‘Running on the roof of the world’.
