Spelling
The No Nonsense Spelling Scheme is used throughout the school. This enables pupils to investigate and learn a variety of spelling patterns that are linked to National Curriculum objectives. Children also learn words from the National Curriculum spelling list for their particular year group. Using the words from this list, they will investigate words containing similar letter strings or search for words of the same family. All pupils have a spelling journal in which they record their findings, notes and investigations.
