Art Flying High Afternoon - Wednesday 19th July 2017

This week, children from years 3 - 5, who have shown particularly good progress and enthusiasm towards art this year, were selected to take part in an art project.

As this term's whole school topic is 'Discovering Southbourne' and 'discovery' being a key school value; the children worked collaboratively to create a large scale piece of artwork that represents their own journey of discovery through art.

They had the chance to try out a range of watercolour techniques, which they used to design their own leaves to add to 'Southbourne's Discovery Tree', that will be up on display in the school.
