My favourite thing we did at CYE was longboat sailing. It was really fun when you leaned out of the boat and felt the wind in your face. The tunnelling was also really fun as the tunnels were all really dark and we got to play fun games like cops and robbers. As well as that we did raft building where we connected two canoes together and rigged up a sail before trying it out on the water. But we wouldn’t have been able to do any of that without the wonderful CYE staff who were all really nice and the amazing food provided which filled us up each day. Falcon pupil, Year 5

I like sleeping and eating the food and doing the activities like going onto the longboat with Barney. I liked doing all the funny voices and steering and I liked the cake. We had chicken and chips and sausage and mash. I like tunnelling because it was so dark and so fun. We played Among Us and it was the second biggest tunnel in Europe. I like doing the rafting because I made the raft and I paddled it, and then we had hot chocolate and cake. I liked doing the team challenges and I like having fun with all the staff and playing football with them. I liked jumping off the raft into the sea water, because it is very fun and very cold. 'My first activity was tunnelling and it was my favourite activity because we played 'Among Us'. I found out CYE (Christian Youth Enterprise) has the second longest tunnel in Europe! I only got to the fifth corner but there were seven corners so I nearly went through the whole thing.                                                                                                                                                                                      We went on a long boat sailing, it was very windy! We sailed all the way to Bosham where we had cake and hot chocolate and got to go play a tiny match of cricket.
Our final activity was rafting, where we played a fun game. We also sang the bungalow song and had more cake and hot chocolate! At the end we all got to jump off the raft. We pressured all the adults to jump off too!' Owl pupil, Year 5

'I liked CYE because everyone was really nice. The long boats were my favourite because we got to control the sail using the ropes. We got loads of hot chocolate and the best brownies ever. Rafting was quite fun but we didn't find steering the raft easy, we played a game where we had to catch orbs in the water. When we did tunnelling, I went in the second longest tunnel in Europe which was so cool! We played Among Us and I hid in the ball pit. I got very dusty but it was so fun.' Owl pupil, Year 5
